YACHT INTRODUCTION
With slick, strong exterior lines this beautiful superyacht is made to explore, AKIKO offers a sumptuous adventure platform.Fresh from an extensive refit, ākikō is ready for charter guests to discover. Throughout the 34-meter award-winning yacht, spacious living areas lead to full height windows which dare the passing views to vie for your attention with the impeccably decorated interior.
An expedition style motor yacht, AKIKO is versatile enough to enter small bays, anchor behind coral atolls or for game fishing over submarine reefs. First launched in 2007, she went on to pick up five major honours at the 2008 World Superyacht Awards.
The 112.14ft /34.18m Custom expedition yacht features a sophisticated exterior design and engineering by Gregory Marshall.
Previously named VvS1 (after a grade of diamonds), she was proudly introduced to the Australian charter market following an extensive refit in New Zealand in 2016-2017 by McMullen and Wing.
The warm colours of Australia accent an interior which is at once strikingly-modern, and invitingly-luxurious. A generous owner’s suite stretches full beam across the main deck, and four guest cabins complete the accommodation, with room for 10 live aboard guests housed in vibrant, individual spaces.
With an onboard private chef preparing a menu designed around your palate, and five additional crew to cater to your every need, ākikō delivers an opportunity to revel in spending time with the ones you love most. Onboard tenders, jet skis, kayaks, stand up paddleboards, an onboard dive master and scuba gear will all add to the experience – but ākikō’s true gift is time away from the rush of the world to enjoy a journey of discovery with friends and family.
ākikō is built with strict Lloyds Class survey requirements and is MCA compliant. to deliver a safe and capable cruising yacht.
