Enthusiastic and healthy individual with a respect and affection for the sea. After graduating with a Diploma in Yacht Management, He moved to using his gained knowledge to build yachts whilst continuing to compete in sailing events home and abroad.
His introduction to the Superyacht world occurred when he moved to Antigua to work for a local carpentry shop, which served the industry in refit and repair. After meeting the people of such a dynamic and diverse industry, he decided to join his first yacht some 16 years ago. Stephen feels very fortunate to work with fantastic individuals and teams and looks forward to continuing this for many years to come.
In his spare time his hobbies are windsurfing, snowboarding and mountain biking.

Brendan Roney is from Allentown, Pennsylvania. He is the middle of three boys who grew up playing any outdoor activity and/or sport one could imagine. After graduating from Duquesne University with a BS in business administration, he decided to make the move to a much warmer climate. Brendan was hired by the Catamaran Company in Florida and became head of marketing and boat shows for the eastern seaboard.
Through that position, he quickly realized my love for the sea and all things boating. Brendan decided to pursue a career in the yachting industry. He began this journey 23 years ago and cannot imagine doing anything else! When he started out as a deckhand, he had little to no knowledge of what he was doing. But, he stayed the course and eventually worked his way up the ranks to mate, then second engineer and Oinally Captain.
Throughout his career Brendan has been fortunate enough to work for some of the kindest and well-‐respected families in the industry. As such, he takes great pride in his role as Captain and strives to always remain Oirm in purpose. This holds true not only for his guests and crew while at work, but also in regards to his family dynamic.
As far as voyages are considered, Brendan completed a transatlantic crossing on a 57’ catamaran, traveled from the Caribbean to Alaska and back on a 90’ ketch, cruised the eastern seaboard, New England and Canada multiple times. He has taken more trips to the Bahamas then he can count and has worked on both chartered and privately owned yachts from 90’-‐213’
Brendan's goal is to make each trip the memory of a lifetime!

Roberts was born in Riga, Latvia. In 2015 Roberts joined his first vessel M/Y Pacific as a deckhand. After 3 years he got promoted and became a Bosun. One year later obtained his Officers certificate and at the same time got promoted to 3rd officer.
Roberts never stops learning. He is always ready to acquire new skills, progress and challenge himself. He is a great team player and always willing to help other crew members. He takes good care of guests and maintains a very positive environment on board.
He is very active. He spent his childhood playing tennis. He loves watersports and is very passionate about kitesurfing.

Manie was born in Cape Town, South Africa and studied for his bachelors degree in International Studies at Stellenbosch University. After university he began a career in journalism including working at GQ magazine. Soon the confinements of an office job seemed too limiting so he looked to the high seas. Manie has a love for the ocean passed on to him by his father so found himself on sailboats traveling to many ports around the world. Always quick with a joke, Manie is an avid reader and writer. He is a key crew member onboard who is always excited to meet new guests and hear about their different life experiences.

Born and raised in Norfolk, England in the coastal village Burnham Market. I have always been near the sea. Keeping active and playing sports has always been a huge thing for me, from spending 3 years skiing around Europe to playing field hockey for England since the age of 15. This is my first year in the industry and have loved every part so far, I am looking to what the future holds for me in yachting.

Jarryd is from the coastal city of Durban, South Africa and grew up on the water and around the beach. After having spent several years in the corporate world, Jarryd decided to pursue a career in yachting in order to align his passions and interests with his career.

Sean grew up in the city of Sails, Auckland, New Zealand. As a result he's an avid sailor and has been on the ocean most of his life. Sean studied electrical engineering before his two passions merged as a Marine engineer, then studying under the UK coastguard system to get his 500ton license. Sean have crossed several of the worlds oceans, leaving no bolt unturned along the way. He ventures outdoors when possible to enjoy all the ocean has to offer, particularly fishing and surfing.

Growing up on Vancouver Island Canada Rob has spent most of his life on the ocean. He moved to St Maarten in 2004 to train and race 12meter sailboats. After two years in St. Maarten Rob sailed across the Atlantic to Barcelona and began his yachting Career. Rob has lived and worked all over the world including the Mediterranean and South Pacific. He has worked on a mixture of Power and Sail yachts over the years and currently holds a Y3 engineering License and is working on his unlimited License.

Rickard started cooking as a youngster under the supervision of his mother and grandmother. He later did his apprenticeship at the Mollberg Hotel in Helsingborg, Sweden.
This laid the foundation to his professional career which has since taken him onto a worldwide career in hospitality encompassing hotels, restaurants and top private residences and yachts.
This diverse career has given him a broad knowledge of worldwide cuisines and will ensure that any needs you have will be catered for. In his spare time Rickard enjoys mountain biking, golf, art and spending time with his wife and family.

Maria Jose is an Interior Designer and Executive Secretary with a great passion for traveling which led her to leave Chile, work on Cruise Ships and after a year join the yachting industry (15 years ago)
Maria Jose truly enjoys interacting with people and found in the luxury traveling and hospitality a new career.
Maria Jose is very active and her interest are related with sports, wellness, personal growth, yoga and meditation.

Joy was born and raised in Cape Town, South Africa. Her love for the sea and her desire to travel prompted the beginning of her career on the water as a yacht stewardess. She is excited to be a part of the Amica Mea crew and looks forward to providing a fun and memorable experience for its guests. In her leisure time Joy likes being active outdoors, baking and listening to music.
