YACHT CREW
Jeff started out as a mechanic working on both automobiles and marine engines. Later, he partnered in a painting business, started his own company, then sold the business so he and his wife could live their dream of sailing in the Caribbean. Jeff says, "I have been involved in boating since I was 4. My father built one of his many sailing yachts in Newport Beach, and even though I was only 4 at the time, I was there helping (or thinking I was). We have always had a boat of one style or another. We were very involved in the local Yachting Clubs and oversaw a lot of the racing/cruising events that took place in the our area. My wife Marie's talents include being a room-mom and running a Day CenGreatter. When our children where older, a career change was made. Marie has always brought a breath of fresh air wherever she goes. During any of our charters she was in the galley (as well as on deck), and the galley was always full of great smells and delights. Marie takes great pride in her work and her ability to motivate people to the 'fun side of life'. We have always enjoyed life and the challenges it has brought us. Marie and I have sailed most of our lives on a dozen different yachts ranging from 14' to our 75' Spronk Catamaran. We've sailed the West Coast of California, Mexico, the Puget Sound, the Florida Keys, Lake Michigan, New Zealand, Tonga, The Bahamas, and most of the Caribbean."
Jeff and Marie have been married for over 38 years and have two grown daughters. Jeff has a 100 T USCG Master's license with Towing, Aux Sail and STCW ASA Sailing Instructor’s Certification.
Joining Jeff and Marie is "Abby", a Jack Russell terrier. Guests have the option of "Abby" staying aboard or ashore for the duration of their charter.
