YACHT INTRODUCTION
Emily Morgan, named after the Yellow Rose of Texas, is a classic Bowman 57 sailing yacht. She was designed by Holman and Pye, who later designed many Oysters, and built by Southampton Boat Services in Hampshire, UK.The spacious cockpit is perfect for sipping a cold sun downer whilst watching the sunset. It has an opening table for magical lunches and dinners under the stars. The large bimini fends off the fiercest midday sun. Sun lovers aren’t forgotten, there’s plenty of comfy cushioned deck space for soaking up the sun when we reach the anchorage, just don’t forget to lash on the factor 30!
Sail handling is managed with furling head sails, main sail with lazy jacks, a mizzen sail aft as well as a spinnaker and mizzen stay sail when speed is of the essence. Emily Morgan is easy to handle with her flexible rig.
Guests can comfortably sit down to dinner either in the generous cockpit or the light and airy saloon. The saloon is spacious with seating around the table and armchairs to relax in. For entertainment Emily Morgan has a sound system complemented by a comprehensive music library, a selection of games and a carefully chosen reading library.
Your hosts aboard Emily Morgan are British husband and wife team Anna and Bones Black. Together they have sailed over 80,000 miles aboard Emily Morgan, including 10 Atlantic crossings and a circumnavigation. They love showing guests the best of the Caribbean, including a few secret spots.
Both Anna and Bones have sailed from an incredibly young age. Anna’s first sailing experience was at 18 months old. Bones cut his teeth in the notorious Bristol Channel. They are both experienced sailing instructors equally happy cruising deserted islands or racing round the cans and love to impart their wealth of knowledge to a willing audience.

Emily Morgan is immaculate and well maintained. We were frequently the boat most photographed in a harbor.
We all left the boat fully relaxed but sad to leave our beautiful yacht and lovely hosts. It was a true vacation above and beyond any expectations.
'Such fun' - fabulous week – re-established my interest in sailing and significantly increased my confidence. Guest comfort and enjoyment Anna & Bones priority. A highly recommended experience.

Everything was great - company, boat, location, food. What a fantastic weekend. Thanks Bones & Anna
An amazing time, son up mast! Husband at helm! Daughter on the kneeboard! Fireworks too. Just a dream come true.
Thank you for a truly wonderful weekend. My first ever big boat sail! Your enthusiasm and patience made for a truly memorable weekend!
Thank you both so much for your hospitality on Saturday. Edmund and I were made to feel very welcome, the food was fantastic and we really enjoyed the day.
Thank you so much from all three of us for a really great day out on Saturday. From the moment we got on board it was all brilliantly organised and the delicious food and drink seemed to just appear seconds after one or other of you had been actually on deck sailing the boat! It was all extremely professional and we had a great day out.
What a wonderful day you gave us on Thursday! We enjoyed everything about it: your splendid boat, the sail before the racing, the relaxed way you conducted the whole day, the lovely lunch and tea and the grandstand position to see the racing. It was great to be there in the thick of it and then come home and see the coverage on YouTube. Brilliant!
