YACHT CREW
Steve is from Port Huron, Michigan and has been captaining yachts for 10 years and crewing professionally for 18. Growing up on the Great Lakes and being from a boating family… there has always been a calling to be on… or near… the water. After moving away from his hometown, with a small detour to visit a friend in South Florida, Steve accidentally found himself as the 1st Mate, on a private motor yacht, based out of Jupiter Island, FL. This would be the beginning of an 18-year long career. Steve holds a U.S.C.G. 200 GT / 500 GT license and several endorsements including advanced fire fighting and towing. He is an avid outdoorsman with an overly positive attitude. He is highly motivated with and outgoing demeanor. Steve prides himself on his flawless safety record and loyalty.
Kevin is from Cumberland, Maryland. Kevin has previously been a restaurant owner and a home builder. His love for the water…and for sailing… comes from his years in the Virgin Islands. Kevin is working towards a captain’s license and currently holds an A.E.C. from Maritime Professional Training, in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Kevin prides himself on his patients and his many “never be defeated” attitude.
Daniella originally hails from Venezuela but was raised in New Jersey. A hospitality specialist with over ten years’ experience on yachts and private homes as chef and stewardess. Culinary trained in southern France, she loves the Mediterranean classics with a “farm/sea to table” spin and a modern/simple interpretation of the freshest summertime ingredients of the Northeast. She loves all aspects of entertaining including wine pairings and medicinal morning drinks after a long night. She looks forward to meeting and spoiling you on Slainte’ III!
