International Yacht & Aviation Awards 2021

The International Yacht & Aviation Awards 2021

Congratulations on Reaching the Shortlist for The International Yacht & Aviation Awards 2021

We are delighted to be able to bring you the final part of your PR and editorial package the voting period. Arguably, the most valuable part of being shortlisted!

Westport Yachts Candidate: Westport 112 Hull #7762

WHEN DOES VOTING GO LIVE?

Voting for all shortlisted projects is now live! Voting will run for 4 weeks and will close on Wednesday 7th July at 17:00pm BST.

WHERE DO I VOTE?

The voting page can be accessed through the link below:
Voting Link: https://thedesignawards.co.uk/voting/

WHERE WILL I FIND MY PROJECT?

All categories will be listed on the same page.

WHY IS THIS VOTING PROCESS DIFFERENT?

Instead of an employed panel of 10 or 12 industry professionals, we have thousands of industry professionals voting on all shortlisted projects on our website. We don’t believe that a small judging panel is fair and objective. A unique part of our voting system is that votes must be cast in every single category, not just your own projects, this gives all shortlisted projects maximum publicity from international industry professionals.

WHO CAN VOTE?

The voting links are sent to our digital database of industry professionals and design et al readers who cast their votes. Shortlisted companies are also permitted to share the voting link with their own clients and followers to promote their entries.

Last year, with 22 various categories, casting a vote took an average of 32 minutes. The voting process is designed to enable all shortlisted projects to gain the most exposure, if you were able to just vote for your own projects, it would become a popularity contest. Moreover, unless a voter is dedicated, involved, or have paid for industry services before, they are not going to spend over 30 minutes of their time looking through shortlisted projects and casting their vote.

HOW CAN I PROMOTE VOTING?

In the link below, you will find several voting banners and videos (720p & 1080p) which you can use in your email signatures, on your websites or on social media etc. Some are transparent and some are colour blocked, but you are free to use these to promote to your clients through the voting process. We have also put an example in the folder for you to see how to use the logos. Click here to download the logos.

THE WINNERS:

Once voting has closed, we will collect all data and ensure all votes are verified and duplicate votes are removed from the first phase of voting. The winners of each category will be announced at the Awards Ceremony on Friday 9th July, Venice. Under no circumstances can winners be revealed before this time.

THE AWARDS BOOK OF SHORTLISTED PROJECTS:

Our publishing staff will commence work on The International Yacht & Aviation Awards 2021 Book of Shortlisted Projects shortly after Voting starts.

On behalf of everyone at design et al, and The Design Awards, I would like to wish you the best of luck with the competition.

Kind regards,

Glenn Hughes
