Yacht for sale is a 2003 MARTEN YACHTS 66' 8" "MISTER A" Motorsailor in La Spezia, Liguria, Italy.
The hull and deck are made of pre-impregnated carbon fibre on a Nomex core with variable density and thickness to ensure maximum mechanical performance of the shell. The interior structures are made of carbon and vacuum-treated, and the composite material also becomes part of the furnishings. In fact, in order to guarantee the lowest overall weight and maximum strength, many furnishing elements such as furniture fronts, horizontal bench tops and interior tops are made of pre-impregnated carbon on a Nomex core and laminated to the hull as an internal rib structure. The lower deck includes two comfortable and elegant double cabins. The master cabin is placed midship while the VIP suite is located in the bow. Both cabins featured pillarless double-sided windows, spacious wardrobes, generous storage capacity, refined furniture with high-quality materials, desks, vanity areas, and en suite heads. The third guest cabin features twin beds that can be joined electrically into a double berth, as well as an en suite head. All of the areas below deck have sliding doors that maximize space and increase the livability of each room. Internally, starting from the bow, we find a spacious sail locker with two service bunks; two symmetrical guest cabins, each with private bathroom. Amidships there is a very spacious dinette, the true heart of the boat, which also houses the owner's galley. In the beam area is the master cabin with two symmetrical beds separated from the study, as chosen by the owner, and private bathroom. Proceeding towards the stern, we find the crew quarters, which will be completely independent from the rest of the interior, to facilitate life on board and watch duty while sailing, with a private bathroom and galley. At the extreme aft end, a garage provides stowage space as well as space to store the tender. The deck plan denotes the style of Studio Vismara, with a low, liveable deckhouse, large walkways and a comfortable manoeuvring cockpit with a double wheel. In the centre of the boat is a living cockpit for enjoying sailing in total relaxation. The performance of this boat is ensured by careful optimisation of the hull lines and appendages, aimed at ensuring maximum sailing efficiency. The sail plan is one of the major innovations on a yacht of this type: a rotating mast with a wing section, in carbon fibre, the result of four-handed work between the design studios involved in the project.
